LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
  1. Be able to describe the typical signs and symptoms of ruptured AAA
  2. Be able to outline the management of presumed ruptured AAA including the urgency of operation
  3. Be able to describe the operative maneuver for supraceliac control of the aorta.
  4. Be able to state the mortality associated with ruptured AAA.
  5. Be able to discuss occurrence of ischemic colitis after repair of ruptured AAA including its frequency and symptoms and signs.
