VASCULAR SURGERY
Case #7 -
A 55 year old with acute R leg and foot pain

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
7.) When do you do an arteriogram?

An arteriogram is done as long as there is no motor deficit on examination. Otherwise an arteriogram can be performed immediately in the face of absent Doppler signals or continuous rest pain. If Doppler signals are present and there is no continuous rest pain, the arteriogram may be done prior to the semi-elective revascularization.
