Be able to list six characteristics of the ischemic limb. Be able to state the two most common mechanisms of acute limb ischemia. Be able to describe the components of the physical exam and Doppler exam that indicate severity and need for prompt revascularization. Be able to discuss the role of medical therapy and surgical therapy.
