LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
  1. Be able to discuss the typical history (including age group) and physical findings for a child with intussusception.
  2. Be able to discuss the causes of intussusception.
  3. Be able to discuss the nonoperative management of children with intussusception including the indications, contraindications, success rate, and complication rate for air contrast enema.
  4. Be able to discuss the indications and techniques for operation in children with intussusception.
