Case #7 - A 70 year old female with passing bright red blood per rectum

 
CLINICAL CASE:
A 70 year old female presents to the emergency room with the complaint of passing bright red blood per rectum since yesterday. She has been in good health with no significant medical and surgical history. She denies abdominal pain. Her blood pressure is 108/60, pulse is 104, and respirations are normal. Her abdominal exam is unremarkable.
