38 year old male with lateral neck mass

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
1.) What is the differential diagnosis of a lateral neck mass in this patient?

Differential diagnosis: inflammatory lymph node, metastatic lymph node, branchial cleft cyst, epidermal cyst, lipoma, lymphoma, carotid body tumor, neurogenic tumor, teratoma, aneurysm, or hemangioma. Thyroglossal duct cysts are usually midline lesions
