7.) What are the options for drainage of the pseudocyst?

Drainage of the pseudocyst:

a. Preferred is internal drainage into stomach or jejunum - may be done open, laparoscopically, or endoscopically

b. External drainage - only if infected and leads to risk of recurrence or fistula - may be percutaneous or surgical drainage
