Austin (Augie D) Dobrecevich earned his BA in chemistry from Carroll College, located in Helena, Montana in May 2021. He grew up fishing and enjoying the outdoors just north of Helena. Following graduation, he and his spouse Greta served a full term with AmeriCorps in the Appalachian region of rural Kentucky improving accessibility into homes for disabled individuals.  His research interests lie in developing novel instrumentation platforms for gas chromatography especially focused on aqueous matrices. He loves to cook, read, spend time outdoors (ideally all three at once), and discuss any topic related to ecology and environmental chemistry. He believes that he is a chemist with the soul of a biologist/ecologist.
