Lisa Zughni, MS, CCC-SLP, is a speech language pathologist who specializes in voice, upper airway/cough, and swallowing disorders. She is the supervisor of Speech Language Pathology services in the Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery department at UW Medical Center – Montlake.

Zughni believes in a multidisciplinary team approach to provide best patient care. She thoroughly believes that the best part of her job is connecting with her patients on a personal level. She enjoys finding what is important to each patient to tailor an individualized treatment plan to get them back to what they love.

Zughni’s clinical interests include head and neck cancer rehabilitation, swallowing therapy, voice therapy, cough reduction therapy, and gender affirming voice therapy.

In her free time, Lisa enjoys spending time on or near the water, planning her next overseas adventure, visiting local farmers’ markets, listening to local radio (KEXP!) and spending time with her family.
