Bio
Dr. Grace Shih is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine. She has a clinical practice at UW Neighborhood Northgate Clinic, where she provides full spectrum family medicine care and runs the Reproductive Health clinic. Her particular areas of clinical interest include family planning and contraception (IUD/implant, medication and aspiration abortion, uterine aspiration for miscarriage management, vasectomy), reproductive health (in/fertility counseling, transgender care, colposcopy), women’s health, and adolescent medicine.
I am family medicine doctor who has provided primary care to many LGBTQ+ patients in my 13 years of practice. I completed a Fellowship in Family Planning at University of California, San Francisco and in my current practice I initiate and continue gender affirming medications and provide comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services.
Of note, while I am not currently able to enroll new patients, I am always happy to temporarily bridge someone’s care until they establish care with a a new primary care provider.
