Bio
Tina Allen, PT, PRPC, BCB PMD is a physical therapist specializing in treating pelvic conditions in all genders throughout their life span including bladder/bowel dysfunction, pelvic pain syndromes, pelvic girdle dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, pregnancy/postpartum, and genito-urinary cancer recovery.
Tina graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a BS in Physical Therapy in 1993 and has specialized in treating pelvic health conditions since 1995. She teaches nationally to patients and other health professionals on wide ranging topics regarding pelvic health.
Tina bases her care on the patients’ individual goals and empowers the patient for lifelong activity and self-care. She focuses on educating patients about their body, their condition, how their muscles can be contributing to what is happening, and how to retrain those muscles and patterns to attain full recovery and return to the activities the patients enjoy
She has special interests in pelvic pain, cancer recovery, and wellness throughout the life span.
