Rachele Delle Fratte is a Research Scientist II in Dr. Ho’s lab. She joined the team in November 2022, following the completion of her master’s degree in London, UK. She previously worked as a critical care nurse in the Medical ICU at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD where her experiences with Covid-19 exposed her to novel research surrounding the disease and sparked her interest in the field (though it tested her in countless ways). Going to London for her Masters in Biomedical Science allowed her to step away from the bedside and explore this curiosity. Being a part of Dr. Ho’s lab, she is continuing to build her research foundation and hopes to use her diverse clinical background to contribute to the paramount research being done here.
