Welcome to the Upward Bound Online Web Magazine!
The University of Washington Upward Bound Program is a federally funded program that helps prepare Nathan Hale, Cleveland and Franklin students for college. It serves students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds or from families in which students would be the first generation to complete a four-year college degree.
Upward Bound provides direction to improve a student's chances of being accepted and graduating from college. The program offers classes during the school year and during the summer. Students receive regular high school credits for all classes taken.
