Professor Behçet Açıkmeşe Receives IEEE Technical Excellence Honor

The Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers Control Systems Society has named Professor Behçet Açıkmeşe recipient of its 2019 award for Technical Excellence in Aerospace Control. Açıkmeşe leads the department’s Autonomous Control Lab.

The award is given for “outstanding contributions to convex optimization-based control and its transitions and applications to aerospace applications.” Read more on the department website.
