Founders Fellow Summer Research Award (Applications Due May 15!)
The Founders Fellows Summer Research Stipend provides 2-5 awards each year to UW Bothell undergraduate students participating in a structured research project over the summer. Award amount is up to $3,000.
Requirements:
- Student must have a UW faculty or staff mentor
- Student must be an undergraduate student at UW Bothell.
- Student is expected to participate in some of the Summer Fundamentals research workshops provided by Connected Learning or another similar research skills and community-building program. Summer Fundamentals workshops will be held on campus on Wednesdays from 3:30-5pm between June 17-August 9 (a complete schedule will be provided to award recipients).
- Student must provide a Connected Learning News blog article (min 3 paragraphs) with an image that summarizes their research experience when they are finished. Posted at https://www.uwb.edu/connected-learning-news.
Applications are due in May. For 2024, applications are due May 15, 2024. Applications can be submitted after May 15, but awards will be issued on a first-come basis and depending on the remaining funds available.
This award is made possible due to the Founders Endowment Fund and managed by Connected Learning.
