Global Health Corps - The U.S. Fellowship and Cohort Programs
What does the U.S. fellowship offer emerging leaders? A GHC fellowship is an exciting opportunity to build skills as an effective leader, but it’s also much more than that. It’s a year that will catalyze your personal and professional growth, placing you within a global and diverse network of bright, young, and committed health equity champions. It is – we hope – a catalyst for an impactful career working towards equitable health systems.
U.S. Fellowship Overview
- The GHC Fellowship in the U.S. identifies diverse, high-potential, emerging public health leaders and provides them with the leadership training, coaching, network, and resources to excel in their careers and advance health equity.
- The U.S. is home to widening health inequities. Those most impacted by these inequities — including women, people of color, and those with lived experiences of navigating health inequities — are least represented at top levels of public health leadership.
- The U.S. Fellowship builds on the foundation of GHC’s existing partnerships and 500+ U.S.-based alumni. It equips participants with skill building, coaching, mentorship, integration into a global community, and access to networks and opportunities to deepen their impact and influence on U.S. health systems.
