Saint Edward State Park Restoration Work Party: October Trail Restoration Volunteer
Overview: On October 11th from 10am-1pm, join us for a day filled with fun at Saint Edward State Park! Saint Edward is full of flora, fauna, and history. Over the years, visitation has increased greatly, and the park needs volunteer help now more than ever. The trails in our beloved park need some support, and we are calling upon you to help us! We will be working to restore trail drainage, to prevent our trails from washing out in the off season.
Our event is best suited for ages 8 and older, and no experience is required. The work party will take place in the rain or shine. This event is brought to you by Friends of Saint Edward State Park, University of Washington Collaborative for Socio-Ecological Engagement, and Washington State Parks.
Where to Meet:
We will meet at the playground; volunteer parking will be on the south lawn, just past the playground (please see attached map). Take NE 145th towards the park and turn left after the ball field. Follow signs down the road towards the playground.
