Website Accessibility Internship – City of Kenmore
Location(s): Off-campus (WA state, Puget Sound area)
Compensation: No compensation or volunteer position
The City of Kenmore is offering an unpaid internship opportunity for students interested in digital accessibility, communications, or user experience. Interns will work 10–15 hours per week for one academic quarter, with flexible scheduling available anytime.
Intern Responsibilities:

Update alternative text for images and graphics

Test accessibility overlays and website features

Convert and update PDFs to be screen reader friendly

Help ensure the city’s website meets current accessibility guidelines
