Dance 514 – Dance Research Symposium

This course will introduce students to contemporary dance research through a series of lectures offered by guest speakers. Five lectures by five different dance researchers will be presented throughout the quarter. Students will meet the week after each lecture to discuss the lecture and related reading materials in a peer-facilitated discussion group. Students will discuss the topics and research methods presented by the guests and relate them to their own research.
