In this seminar-style course we’ll take a look at how museums use theatre and performance to meet educational goals in a different way than through traditional exhibits and programming. We’ll examine a range of performance forms from auditorium-style plays to immersive and interactive performance programs. How does museum performance create knowledge, change minds, or offer opportunities to witness and embody the experiences of others?
