2017 Dates & Deadlines and RWF Updates

We have updated our Dates & Deadlines page to reflect the 2017 Academic Year. Advisors and students are encouraged to review this page at least once per quarter. Please note the revised deadline for payment of the Registration Waiver Fee (RWF). We’ve moved the payment deadline to the last day of instruction for all RWF students in order to better serve students.

Also, the Registration Waiver Fee page has been revised with separate instructions for thesis/dissertation students and non-thesis students. We hope the revisions will provide additional clarity about this process. In particular, students often ask “What will my degree conferral quarter be if I use the RWF?” Eligible students who pay this fee will graduate in the following quarter (e.g., a student who missed the deadline to graduate in Autumn 2016 and pays the Graduate Registration Waiver Fee will have a Winter 2017 degree conferral date).

RWF is meant to provide eligible students with the opportunity to graduate without incurring unnecessary tuition fees, so please let us know if you have questions about any particular student.
