Best Practices for Student Visa Requests

If you are offering department financial support to an international graduate applicant:

• Please complete the Graduate Funding Detail page in MyGrad Program (MGP) via the Funding Info link. The processing of I-20 request forms for F-1 visa applications will be delayed without this information.
• We have updated our Visa Request & Funding for International Applicants document on the GPA/GPC Resources page.If you’re awarding an RA/TA to an applicant, and need help completing the Funding Info page, please see page two of  Visa Request & Funding.
• With the new Enrollment Confirmation System, students must accept the offer and pay the Enrollment Confirmation Deposit (ECD) in their online application and then they will have access to the I-20 request form.
