EH&S Presented with CSHEMA Merit in Innovation Awards

Two UW environmental health and safety projects were selected by the Campus Safety, Health, and Environmental Management Association (CSHEMA) to receive an Award of Merit in the Innovation Award category at its national conference.

EH&S’s Lab Safety Initiative and Accident Prevention Plan were selected from among submissions by colleges and universities nationwide. The Innovation Award recognizes the achievement of higher education institutions in the categories of process improvement, resource management and safety culture. The UW’s two award-winning projects will be recognized at the CHSEMA conference in Baltimore, MD, on July 9. Congratulations to Jude Van Buren and all of the EH&S staff for their excellent work.
