Center for Shared Services
The Health Sciences Administration Center for Shared Services (CSS) went live in March of 2018 after a year of development. The Center combines transactional administrative, financial, and IT services into one operation that offers high-quality customer service as part of an overall strategy that focuses on the optimal use of university resources. The CSS will provide one-stop services for high volume, routine transactions related to accounting, purchasing, billing, IT support, travel, hiring and other administrative functions.

The CSS team works with you to develop an effective business partnership that doesn’t end when your work is transferred to the CSS. We keep a relentless focus on two primary areas:
- Service: Our first step is to identify the transaction processing and financial management needs for your Unit. Then we’ll match your needs with the most appropriate services, define the terms of our partnership, and determine next steps.
- Quality: We’re committed to measuring and reporting our effectiveness and working with you to make continuous improvements based on your feedback and our metrics.
