The UW LEAH program sponsors seminars, lectures and training programs that are open to graduate students, community professionals in health, education, human services, and families. The goal of the seminars and trainings is the promotion of state-of-the-art interdisciplinary care and management for adolescents and their families. For more information, contact UWLEAH@uw.edu.
Weekly seminars presented by experts provide current information in the field of adolescent health. Topics include: leadership styles, life course perspective, adolescent physical and psycho-social development, interdisciplinary team process, family-centered practice, cultural diversity, and research.
These seminars are held either in the Springbrook 4500 1st floor conference room or in the Seattle Children’s Hospital. Please see the individual seminar for the specific location.
Leadership Series seminars are designated for Long-term LEAH Fellows only. Short-term and Medium-term LEAH Trainees are welcome to attend all other LEAH seminars.
