- Development of combinatorial and intersectional recombinase strategies for neural circuit dissection
- Combinatorial CRISPR/SaCas9 strategies for gene inactivation and circuit manipulation
- Implementation of new sensors and actuators for neural imaging and manipulation
- Implementation of new packing systems for AAV production
What we do:
- Provide viral reagents (AAVs) for pilot projects.
- Generate viral-based CRISPR-SaCas9 reagents and validation for pilot projects.
- Generate new reagents for neural circuit analysis.
- Implement new viral-based techniques for circuit analysis.
- Consultation for molecular genetic approaches to neural circuit dissection.
- Provide lists of viral vectors available at the NAPE MGRC ( Contact Selena Schattauer (schreibs@uw.edu) or Larry Zweifel (larryz@uw.edu) for requests or further information):
What we do not do:
- We are not a viral core for large scale production.
- We do not make virus to order for long-range or large projects.
