Free tickets for the UW vs. Purdue Salute to Service football game on Saturday, November 15th at 4:00 PM PST. Sign-ups for tickets will be on a first-come, first-served basis, with a waitlist for those who do not make the ticket cutoff.

The VMRC is offering a free shuttle bus for students to join the UW Salute to Service tailgate and football game! Simply meet the charter bus at the W, hop on, and enjoy a stress-free ride. After the game, we’ll bring you back to campus so the celebration can continue!

The annual UWAA Veterans Alumni Reunion will take place on Thursday, November 13th, 2025, at Urban Family Brewing Co. (1103 NW 52nd St, Seattle, WA 98107). The event will begin at 6:00 PM and conclude around 9:30 PM. During the event, you will be able to grab some swag items from UWAA and SVL, as well as a wristband and tickets for beverages and food.

Join us at Shultzy’s on The Ave during Veterans Appreciation Week (VAW) 2025, where we will celebrate YOU and initiate our first formal event for the Staff and Faculty Veterans Association (SFVA) for the University of Washington. No-Host means that food and drinks will be the responsibility of attendees, and it will not be covered at this time by the SFVA or the Office of Student Veteran Life.

The UW Tacoma Student Veteran Organization, the Peer Advisors for Veteran Education (PAVE), and other campus organizations will host an in-person ceremony to recognize and honor the entire UW Tacoma military-connected community – veterans, active service members, alumni and family members – with a special family-friendly dinner.

Our annual Veterans Day Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. at the Medal of Honor Memorial on the UW’s campus in Seattle. Registration is not required.

Join us at the Medal of Honor Memorial during Veterans Appreciation Week (VAW) 2025, as we work to restore the memorials around campus for military members. This will include the US Flag Pole near the Medal of Honor Memorial, Medal of Honor Memorial, Entry Archways of Memorial Way, and if time permits, other memorials/areas surrounding them.
