Professor Christopher Parker was interviewed on Seattle Channel’s Civic Cocktail series, alongside King County Prosecutor Dan Satterberg, discussing the rise of racially motivated violence and white nationalism following the election of Donald Trump. When asked by host Joni Balter what he meant by the “silver lining” of the Trump election to people of color, Parker responded: “It removes all doubt of the fact that this is a racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic country, period.”
