Artist Trust Benefit Art Auction

ARTIST TRUST BENEFIT ART AUCTION
FEBRUARY 25, 2017
FISHER PAVILION – SEATTLE CENTER

Artist Trust invites you to envision the future with us at our 2017 Benefit Art Auction. With a newly launched strategic plan embracing and enacting the values of openness, transparency, responsiveness, and forward-thinking, we are focused on what’s next for our organization and artists in Washington State. What does the future mean to you? What’s the future of our local arts identity? In your personal practice, what’s coming next?
Artist Trust invites visual and jewelry artists to submit up to three works to be considered for inclusion in the auction. Inspiration from our theme in choosing works to submit is encouraged, but not required.

The Artist Trust Benefit Art Auction audience is comprised of professionals from respected non-profit, government, and corporate entities, new and seasoned art collectors, emerging and established artists, and cultural philanthropists. Our aim is to present your best work.

Artwork will be juried on the following criteria:
· Quality, originality, and currency of work
· Audience appeal and salability
· Size for ease of transport and installation
· $500 to $4,500 retail value

Artists are welcome to submit works outside these parameters – exceptions to be made on a case-by-case basis. A jury of accomplished collectors, gallerists, and curators will choose works. Recent jurors include: Tim Detweiler, Paula Stokes, Marita Dingus, Edie Adams, Stefano Catalani, Bryan Ohno, Sarah Traver, Chris Weber, Cathy Casteel, Miriam Works, Phen Huang, Francine Seders, and many more. Jury will be announced September 30.
