CoCA, the Center on Contemporary Art, serves the Pacific Northwest as a catalyst and forum for the advancement, development, and understanding of Contemporary Art. CoCA has been a vital part of contemporary art in the Northwest for 35 years, and has operated galleries and produced events throughout the Seattle area over that time period.
As a non-profit arts organization we offer many volunteer opportunities. Volunteers can act as docents for the CoCA gallery. Volunteers also help run our annual art marathon and auction fundraiser. In addition, our volunteers can assist with installation of gallery exhibits, website and membership management, and social media outreach.
CoCA offers many internships, including those for Communications, Development and Fundraising, Web/IT support, Curatorial support, Volunteer Coordination, Administration, and Facilities.
