SUMMER TEACHING OPPORTUNITY
The UW Summer Youth Program is currently recruiting art instructors for its elementary day camps. Instructors are responsible for developing a 10-day lesson plan for two week thematic sessions.
Sessions currently open are: June 25-July 6, July 23-August 3 and August 6-17. Instructors teach four classes each day.
Hourly rate starts at $22.
Qualifications:
- Candidates are typically advanced students, educators or professionals in related arts field.
- Instructors need to demonstrate effective classroom management; deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities, and create a classroom environment conducive to cooperative and hands-on learning.
