Rainier Beach Community Center – Volunteer

ATTENTION ARTISTS:

Is art your passion? Looking to volunteer with youths? Then the City of Seattle’s Parks and Recreation department has an opportunity for you!

Through our street art program at Rainier Beach Community Center, youth and volunteers work together from start to finish to create a mural that will be displayed at a local Seattle bus stop. With your talents, youth are taught drawing and painting skills and encouraged to get creative with paint. Our street art program focuses on expanding the ideas of what traditional street art looks like and stresses the importance of using art as an expression to leave a positive message in our neighborhood.

If you are interested in joining the street art team at Rainier Beach or have any questions, please contact Santy Villarico at the contact information below.
