The Pipeline Project is recruiting students who have experience in painting (and other art-making) for the Art of Protest seminar and practicum.
- The seminar is variable credit, from 1-6 credits, and it counts as I&S. If you’re still looking for a class, this could be a fun one!
- It combines a weekly seminar and outside of class tutoring/volunteering.
- We are partnering with Urban Artworks and Franklin High School’s Arts for Resistance and Resilience Club, a group of HS students who conceive of, research, hold community gatherings, design, and paint murals that engage with social justice issues. For both of these opportunities, we’re looking for people with painting experience and experience working with youth.
- If you don’t have painting experience, but still are interested, there are other cool opportunities to volunteer through ArtsCorps and Amplifier.
- Immersive Learning Technology: join k-12 students making VR video games!
- La Feste del Arte – assist the Creative Director of ArtsCorps’s annual show featuring teaching artists and students.
