Associated Recreation Council (ARC) seeks Arts Enrichment Instructor

The Associated Recreation Council (ARC) is recruiting an Enrichment Instructor to lead multi-media Art classes, Comic Book classes, and Ceramics classes at multiple elementary schools. The Enrichment Instructor will be responsible for leading, planning and managing a group of elementary school students. The enrichment instructor will focus on teaching participants the basics of various types of multi-media art. This position will be also responsible for creating a fun and creative environment for participants. A passion for teaching is a must!

 

Location: Various Sites

Pay range: $18.00 – $25.00 Hourly DOE

Schedule: 2 – 5 Hours per week

Start date: We are always hiring for this role as an Instructor or a Substitute Instructor; so let us know that you are interested. In particular, we are looking for instructors to start in the Springtime.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience creating innovative age appropriate curriculum
  • Experience teaching multi-media Art to elementary age children
  • Ability to manage a group of kids
  • Ability to lead and create lesson plans
  • Over the age of 21 years old
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Must provide valid government-issued ID and proof of eligibility to work in the US
  • Willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR certification
