Apply for the Arts & Sciences Advisory Council For Students! | Deadline May 8

The Arts and Sciences Advisory Council for Students (ASACS) is seeking applicants!

The Arts and Sciences Advisory Council for Students (ASACS) serves as a consultative committee for the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Robert Stacey. ASACS is comprised of approximately ten (10) undergraduates and two (2) graduate students. During the academic year, ASACS meets regularly with Dean Stacey to provide student perspective, input, and recommendations on College-level decision-making regarding budgets and policies pertaining to our College. The recommendations drafted at our meetings also inform the discussions of the Provost’s Advisory Committee for Students (PACS). Previous committees have helped shape policy on issues like merit-based faculty salary increases, the number of teaching assistants in the College, online course evaluations, creation of a new Life Sciences building, and the review of course fees.

We are currently seeking motivated and engaged undergraduates and graduate students to apply for the 2020-2021 school year. Students from all disciplines, perspectives, and grade levels are invited to apply.
