I am Manan Pathak, CEO of BattGenie Inc., a UW spinout from the ChemE Department working on Battery Management Systems for Li-ion batteries. We are looking for a student intern from the School of Arts and Design to work with us for web and design content development in a part-time/full-time role over the summer quarter starting immediately.
Summary:
“BattGenie Inc., a UW spinout specializing in control systems for Li-ion battery management systems (BMS), has an open paid intern position for the Summer quarter starting immediately, with a potential to convert into a full time job later on. The eligible candidate should be proficient in marketing/branding content and web development.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience in Graphic design – Photoshop / Illustrator / similar tool.
- Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web.
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Understanding of branding. Self-starter.
Description:
You will be part of a group of primarily UW researchers and alumni working on software and models for Battery Management systems. We are primarily a technology company. We need help and support in developing our marketing content to explain our technology to stakeholders – customers, investors, etc.
Minimum degree requirement: Candidates pursuing an undergraduate, graduate degree or PhD/PostDoc in Arts/Design.
