Black Media Representation Discussion with Brukab Sisay!
This Wednesday, Feb. 3 at 6pm, join our discussion with Brukab Sisay about inequalities in Black media representation and think through some potential large and small scale interventions.
Brukab Sisay is a visiting lecturer in the Department of American Ethnic Studies and teaches courses in African American Studies. Brukab was born in Ethiopia, raised in South King County, and attended the University of Washington for his undergraduate degree. He has a B.A. in American Ethnic Studies in Education, Learning, and Society.
