Talent is everywhere, opportunity is not. To address this, Gallery 110 welcomes Black, Indigenous and other Artists-of-Color (BIPOC)* to apply to become members of Gallery 110, a Pioneer Square artist collective with a 20-year history of exhibiting Emerging Artists.

*BIPOC (Alaskan Native, Asian/Asian-American/Pacific Islander or Hawaiian, Black/African/African-American, Latinx, Middle Eastern, Native American or Indigenous, or South Asian)

BIPOC Emerging Artists who find our gallery membership dues a barrier are invited to submit their work to the Gallery 110 Emerging Artist Scholarship Competition – June 2022. See overview below. Founded in 2018, Gallery 110’s Emerging Artist Program provides King County emerging artists an opportunity to compete for scholarship awards, providing mentorship, subsidized member dues, and other resources to help grow their art career. Our jurors will award up to seven fully funded 2-year memberships in Gallery 110, which include gallery representation, a website artist page, a solo exhibition within the following 24 months, mentoring as a professional fine artist, and participating in gallery decision-making and operations as a full member-owner.

Emerging artists for whom membership dues would not be a significant hurdle are encouraged to apply for membership directly. Gallery 110 welcomes artists of all races, beliefs and cultures as members.

OVERVIEW
