The Boeing Company is looking for a Scientific Imaging Photographer to join our team in Seattle WA.
This an exciting opportunity for a Technical photographer with the capability to support multiple still and video platforms!
Position Responsibilities:
- Plans and performs photography in a studio, field or scientific environment
- Operates conventional and specialized equipment to capture and process a range of images for still, instrumentation or scientific imaging
- Fabricates camera mounts, cases and other support equipment to capture images and protect equipment
- Defines image requirements and plans photographic events
- Collaborates with team leads to build and support a dynamic and inclusive work environment
- Contributes to the development of organizational strategy and communication
- Adheres to Boeing guidelines for classified content
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.§120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree in photography or similar discipline
- 3+ years with Photoshop
- Experience creatively solving problems and generating alternatives
- 3+ years with Adobe Lightroom
- Willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Technical photography background preferred
- Experience with Nikon Camera systems
- Experience with FLIR camera systems
- Experience with High Speed video
- Self-starter and the ability to work independently
