Sand Point Arts & Cultural Exchange is excited to announce an open call for our 2023 season at The Magnuson Park Gallery. If you identify as an emerging or underrepresented artist, collective or curator, this open call is for you!
Submission deadline: June 10, 2022
Proposal Requirements:
– Artist statement (general)
– Artist CV or resume
– Written show proposal
– Images of examples of your work
Conditions: Artwork shown must be for sale. Sales will be handled by the Gallery, processing all the payments, including sales taxes, etc. and then send you a check for payments received after the exhibition is over. The Gallery does take a commission of 30% off any items sold during the exhibition, which goes directly toward operations costs, such as rent, electricity, and staffing.
We are accepting 2D and 3D visual media at this time.
Artwork must be hang ready (framed or equivalent preparation, with hanging apparatus installed), and artist must be available to drop off/pick their work in person at the agreed upon dates.
