National Nordic Museum – Hiring Multiple Positions

The National Nordic Museum shares Nordic culture, values, and ideas with people of all ages and backgrounds to create connections, generate dialogue, and inspire new perspectives.

Founded in 1979, the National Nordic Museum is the only institution of its size and scale in the United States to present the history and culture of the entire Nordic region (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, the regions of the Faroe Islands, Greenland, and Åland, and the cultural region of Sápmi) and the legacy of Nordic immigrants to the United States.

Located along Seattle’s working waterfront in an iconic building that embodies Nordic design, the institution is both a museum and a community gathering place.

Exhibition Designer and Preparator

Membership and Annual Fund Manager

On-Site position

The Membership & Annual Fund Manager ensures the successful implementation of strategies and campaigns to support the National Nordic Museum’s fund development goals. The position oversees all facets of the Museum’s Annual Fund and Membership programs and serves as the lead user for the Salesforce CRM. Public Programs Producer

On-Site position

The Public Programs Producer plans and executes compelling, thought‐provoking public programs for a general audience. This position will focus efforts on growing Museum audiences by strengthening existing programs and delivering new programs that demonstrate creativity, promote inclusion, and align with current thinking about public engagement in museums, while upholding the Museums core values of openness, social justice, innovation, and sustainability.
