Future Arts, a womxn-led non profit arts & technology organization is very excited to announce AUGMENT Seattle 2022, a mixed reality urban showcase happening August 12-28th in South Lake Union. This will be a free, all ages event featuring artworks from local & global artists in a variety of mediums including window displays, augmented food+drinks, and more.
We’re excited to provide opportunities for community members to instigate new ways of cross pollination between tech workers, creatives, and youth to build a more accessible creative economy.
If you’re a volunteer, you will….
-Receive swag bags with gift cards to local business and other surprises as a thank you
-Engage with local emerging and global legacy digital artists
-Behind the scenes looks at the making of a first-of-its kind emerging technology showcase and AR artwork
-Building a better future for your community through art and discourse practices
-Be part of a special group of folks helping break systems and build new, better ways to engage with each other and a growing, urban landscape
-Network with other creatives, tech enthusiasts, futurists, and passionate humans making dope things happen!
We will follow this questionnaire up with more information and training for all volunteers.
