Graphic Designer
glassbaby is looking for a Graphic Designer to join the team that will be responsible for developing both digital / print design projects (brochures, logos, posters, infographics, advertisements). A
bonus would be expertise in motion, specifically short-form video projects.
Responsibilities
Develops graphics, illustrations, and other creative materials for the web, social, and other digital platforms that is on-brand, reinforces our reputation, and is appropriate for our various audiences; Design and layout of materials for internal communications and business materials.
Develop creative and engaging promotional, short-form video to promote the brand through different social media platforms and the website.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field, or demonstrated success in relevant professional fields.
Proven experience in graphic design
Strong visual communications skills, consistent with the tone and feel of the brand
Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (mainly InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, and Photoshop), Microsoft Office, DropBox, Sharepoint.
Strong video editing experience with Adobe Premiere Pro
Experience with graphic design and production principles and processes; experience in camera operation, location and set management, audio, lighting, sound editing
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro)
Experience developing strategic visual content for social media
Experience with developing graphics, illustrations, videos, gifs, and other creative materials for web, social, and other digital platforms
Solid verbal and written communication skills;
Technically proficient with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve;
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues.
This is a freelance position at 10 hrs/wk for an initial 10 wk period with the potential for a longer term commitment.
