Seattle Co-Arts Scholarship Open

ABOUT SEATTLE CO-ARTS
Seattle Co-Arts began in 1949 as a small group of artists led by Margaret Mattocks as the founding president. They gathered regularly to paint together. In 1950 under the guidance of Judge Evangeline Starr, the group incorporated as a non-profit educational organization.
Today we have over 130 members and continue to provide a forum for artists to meet and expand their love of art while fulfilling our ongoing mission:
• To encourage creativity and artistic development
• To offer educational opportunities
• To present member’s work to the public
• To encourage community interest in the arts
• To cooperate with other organizations to promote art appreciation

This organization does not and shall not discriminate based on race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status in any of its activities or operations.
