We are hiring!

Tirto Furniture seeks a salesperson to join our team. We are looking for someone with experience working in retail or customer service,  who enjoys people, is self-motivated, confident, and interested in furniture. This person will work 3-5 days a week including weekends from 10:45am-6:15pm. The schedule will be determined a month in advance, with some flexibility. Hourly pay starting at $18 and up to $22 depending on experience, with regular annual raises.

This individual will be the main point of contact for all customers who visit or contact the store during their shift. We seek someone who can create a welcoming environment for customers, accurately answering questions and checking people out, assisting with returns/exchanges, and assisting with loading furniture into vehicles.

Since this individual will be joining our very small team of four employees and representing the brand of our family business, we are seeking someone with the following requirements:

  • Open availability to work flexible hours on weekdays and weekends

  • Commitment to excellent customer service under all circumstances

  • Ability to communicate effectively

  • Ability to accurately complete all sales documentation

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision

  • Ability to process information and merchandise through computer and register systems

  • Ability to deal calmly and effectively with stressful situations to resolve customer issues

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent, Associate degree or equivalent preferred

  • Ability to pass a background check

  • Ability to help load furniture and rearrange merchandise in the showroom, can lift 50 lbs

Daily Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service

  • Assist customers on product inquiries and complaints

  • Obtain merchandise requested by customer

  • Maintain an awareness of all product information

  • Assist in processing, restocking and replenishing the merchandise

  • Participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock

  • Accurately complete all sales transactions

  • Help keep the showroom clean and orderly

  • Answer and direct phone calls & inquiries to the appropriate person
