SEEKING: Creative Lighting Artist/Designer for Theatrical Production!
My name is Ruby O’Malley, I’m a senior in the School of Drama and this quarter, I’m directing a show titled Fefu and Her Friends by María Irene Fornés, produced by UW’s Undergraduate Theater Society. Our production will not be a typical one: We’re staging it in UW Classrooms on campus! The show will take place in 4-5 rooms in one building, and we’re seeking a creative lighting artist/designer to help craft these spaces with light, color, and shadow. The lighting of these spaces will be similar to an art installation instead of traditional theatrical lighting, but still with a focus on storytelling and dramatic elements.
