UW ILABS Call for Digital Illustrator

Are you a talented illustrator with a passion for childhood education? We’re seeking a creative mind to join our team and bring our educational products to life through captivating illustrations. The project is a research-based and scientifically tested training and certification program that prepares instructors to teach young children a second language. It provides teaching strategies, lesson plans, and classroom tools to help harness the brain’s prime time for language learning. This is a remote position and will be on a project-based request. We are looking for students with the ability to start ASAP for 3-5 hours a week (~5 weeks) at $21.50/hour. Students are expected to provide their own devices/software.

Skills & Style Requirements:

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Animation skills are a plus
  • Playful illustration style suitable for childhood education products

Imagery Needed:

  • 25 Illustrations for Abstract Lesson Topics such as Animals, Colors, Feelings, etc.
  • 26 (Potentially More) Illustrations for Training Concepts That Promote Bilingualism In Infants, Toddlers And Preschoolers
