Redfin Content Marketing Manager

Redfin is looking for a smart, resourceful, content marketing coordinator with a mix of SEO and PR skills to join our marketing team. In this role, you will work on a small team to enhance our SEO efforts including building new citations and online mentions to Redfin.com, responding to outside requests for data and finding new content promotion opportunities. You should be personable and comfortable with outbound emails, calls, and social media outreach, while also being collaborative with technical and creative marketing teams. The person we’re looking for should be up-to-date with recent search engine changes, including (but not limited to) the basics of Google’s algorithm and practice search engine-approved methods for building brand awareness that drive results.
On an average day, you can expect to:

  • Research and build a list of high quality websites and bloggers willing to publish Redfin’s content and data
  • Pitch Redfin’s content and data using persuasive outreach through email, social media and telephone
  • Consistently track and maintain an organized database of contacts and email templates with high attention to detail
  • Explore new content opportunities to build online relationships with government and academic websites
  • Collaborate with PR to create linkable blog content that helps to increase search engine rankings while also representing the Redfin brand and mission
  • Report to SEO Manager with successes, progress, and opportunities

TECHNOLOGIES SKILLS YOU’LL USE

  • Familiarity with Google Docs and/or Office Suite
  • Strong email composition and mail-merge skills preferred
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of Digital Marketing and SEO preferred
  • Experience with basic SEO tools (Moz, Majestic, Ahrefs) Preferred but Not Required
