The Vera Project 20th Anniversary Design RFP

The Vera Project is turning 20!!! Seattle’s favorite all-ages music venue and nonprofit arts space will be celebrating our 20th anniversary all 2021 long with a series of livestreams and in-person special events. In order to make next year a huge success and fundraise for some big new programs, we’re looking for creative, skilled, and fast-acting graphic designers that can create artwork to help us share our story.

The Vera Project (VERA) is an all-ages nonprofit space dedicated to fostering personal and community transformation through collaborative, youth-driven engagement in music and art. A music venue, screen print shop, recording studio, art gallery, educational institution, and safe space for radical self- expression, VERA is a home to Seattle’s creative community.

If you are an experienced artist/designer from and/or currently located in the Seattle area and want to work with our community to create something meaningful, we’d love to hear from you. Selected artists will be generously compensated and have their work featured to The Vera Project’s network in Seattle and an audience of tens-of-thousands nationwide.

While the final scope of work and compensation will be determined throughout the next several weeks in collaboration with our selected artists, the following deliverables are confirmed:

1. VERA 20th Anniversary Logo(s) & Style Guide (11/16 – 2/28)
-Primary logo for promotional use
-Letterhead
-Fundraising mailers (digital & print)
-Digital and print ads
-Merchandise (various merch designs)
-Thank you cards

2. 20th Anniversary Kickoff Event Poster (11/16 – 1/31)
-Concert poster (digital & print)
-Invites/postcards (digital & print)
-Event style guide

3. 20th Anniversary Gala Event Poster (5/1 – 10/1)
-Event poster (digital & Print)
-Save the Dates
-Invites/Postcards (digital & print)
-Event style guide
-Thank you cards

***Exact timelines and scopes of work subject to change. We’re open to working with one or multiple artists on the full project, depending on submissions and applicant availability.

The deadline for submission is Wednesday, November 11th.
