We recently identified the endosome-associated recycling protein (EARP) complex and the EARP-interacting-protein EIPR-1 as proteins important for controlling levels of DCV cargoes in Caenorhabditis elegans neurons. Check out our recent publication in which we begin to characterize the role that the mammalian orthologs of these proteins play in DCV cargo sorting/retention in rat insulinoma cells!
